Looking for a Challenge?

We would love to have you participate in the Red Letter Challenge with all of us at Cross Lutheran Church and School. For each of the first 40 days of the year, we will encounter something Jesus has said (often printed in red letters in the Bible) and be challenged to put it into practice together. Books are available on the table in our main entryway. If you want to get involved, please click on the link below:

Building God's Kingdom

In his first Epistle, Peter calls Christians “living stones” (1 Peter 2:5). As God's living stones He is building His kingdom in us and through us, to bring Christ's living Word and forgiving love to our community for generations to come. God isn’t finished! Until Christ returns, we respond to His love by being actively engaged in the work He has for us to do! We grow in Him, and in so doing, are built up and are building one another up. There is no one that is not involved. Each of us is part of the Body of Christ; each of us has a role in building up each other in this unity. Each of us participates in extending the Gospel as we live out the love of Christ Jesus. And at the foundation, we are all Built on the Rock, which is Christ.
